Terry and I met in November of 2000. We were married November of 2001. We had Ty November of 2002 and Alex in May of 2004. How is that for moving fast?!?! The boys are the love of our lives along with family and friends but ultimately God! We love God and are striving to please Him. We are actively involved in our church here in town--Life Church of Fort Collins. We love it. Come visit sometime!

Spring is here

It's Spring in CO...time for rain showers, flowers, sprinkler systems starting, and of course mowing the grass. Terry mowed on Saturday and got the sprinklers working on Sunday afternoon. The boys HAD to run through the sprinklers as we were trying to make sure that the system was set up and ready to go. Alex was running as fast as he could so he wouldn't get too wet and he fell face first into the grass. Another picture opportunity! =)

New Bike

Ty got his first big boy bike!!! Wow, my boys are growing up. Ty had to earn this bike by obeying and being kind to his brother. Once he filled up a sticker chart, he could get a bike. This weekend, we found the bike he wanted. He even rode it around the store for awhile! Alex got a helmet to wear while he does his skateboard and scooter. Here are some pictures of them from yesterday.

More Easter pictures

So...I know that it is a little late for more Easter pictures but our computer has been having soooo many problems---so I haven't been able to post much. Anyway, Easter Sunday the boys woke me up and said that the Easter bunny had come. I knew I hadn't done anything so I was wondering what they were talking about. We looked out the window and saw this.
The boys were soooo excited...there were Easter baskets on the front porch as well. Our neighbors had put the eggs on our lawn...what a fun treat for the boys. It was snowy and cold but we got our coats on and got our eggs anyway...

What a fun time for the boys! Here are some pictures of the boys and their Easter baskets.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was our neighborhood Easter egg hunt...the weather---was snowy. So our wonderful HOA made arrangments at an indoor soccer field and they had it anyway. The boys had a great time picking up eggs--it's really not a hunt as you can see the eggs all over the field. But they enjoyed it anyway...then we had lunch and a little bit of candy! =) Oh, and Ty won some bunny ears...

Fun with Friends

Here is another post of some things that have been happening the past month...it has been hard to keep up lately. Anyway, we had a play date with my good friend Sarah and her girls a couple of weeks ago. We decided to go to Bounce and play since the weather was not great. The kids had a blast and even though we couldn't get them to sit for long, we managed to get a couple cute pictures.

Too long

Yes, it has been WAY too long since I have posted on our blog...we have had some computer problems and I haven't had a chance to update it! Well, I am back hopefully...I will probably post a couple here in the next few days. Anyway, the first pictures that I want to share are of Alex. By the way, Alex will be 3 in one month...I can't believe it! We had some friends from our church over for a play date a couple weeks ago and the boys were eating lunch outside. Alex was sitting at the picnic table and I started to take a picture and again, Alex has to do the "pirate face". I don't know why this is such a big thing for him...you can almost hear him saying, "ARRR".

Next, Ty has grown out of taking naps for the most part and Alex thinks that he has too. So we try some days to let them stay up and unfortunately Alex keeps crashing late afternoon... sometimes he sleeps wherever he falls...this time it happened to be the living room floor!

The last picture I have to share (Alex will grow up and resent me for this) is my favorite!!!! He loves to wear "Big people" shoes. We were getting ready for bed one night and the boys like to run around the house a couple times while they are naked...Alex stops and puts my tennis shoes on and says, "Look, I'm Mommy!" I HAD to grab the camera!!!! I did however have to strategically place him so that this picture would be ok to post! =)
