Terry and I met in November of 2000. We were married November of 2001. We had Ty November of 2002 and Alex in May of 2004. How is that for moving fast?!?! The boys are the love of our lives along with family and friends but ultimately God! We love God and are striving to please Him. We are actively involved in our church here in town--Life Church of Fort Collins. We love it. Come visit sometime!

Christmas Day

We started our Christmas out reading the Christmas story from a book that Terry had as a child. Grandma Jordan brought it over for us to read. Again it seems that I can't keep my kids from putting their fingers in their noses--you can see Ty picking away! lol Another tradition for us is to have Terry's parents come over to watch the kids open presents and then we have breakfast together. Terry makes Swedish pancakes for us. If you haven't had these before, you are really missing a treat. They are really thin pancakes and I'm sure thin on calories....well, I kept telling myself that! We also had some friends come share some pancakes too. Matt, Amber and Jaeden Smith joined us for some fun and eating! Then in the evening we had dinner with Terry's family. We had a great day! Lots of great food and fun. Enjoy the pictures.

Traditions

We have started a tradition in our house where the boys get to open one present on Christmas Eve and then the rest in the morning...so here is the before picture of the presents they got to open...

And here is the after picture...they love swords. I love Alex's eyes is this picture! =) So of course the boys didn't want to stop playing with their swords to go to bed. So they had them in bed with them. The next morning Alex came out to open presents and this is what he looked like....

He had the look of a pirate on his face. lol

Merry Christmas matey!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all!!! Happy New Year!

Snowmobile

One more picture for today and then I think I am done.... Our neighbor has a snowmobile. He stopped and let Terry take Ty for a ride. So I wanted to post a picture of them on the snowmobile! Ty was yelling woo hoo the whole time. He had a blast!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

What fun in the snow!!!!! It took us all morning to dig ourselves out of the snow! The boys had a great time playing in it and throwing snowballs at anyone and everyone they could! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

25 inches of beautiful snow!!!!

Anyone wanna go skiing or boarding?!?!? We have about 25 inches of snow here in CO and about 3 or 4 foot drifts. It is absolutely beautiful but impossible to drive. We have been watching big trucks trying to make it down our street, only to get stuck and have to dig themselves out! We heard that I-25 was closed all the way through the state. Not sure if it is opened yet this morning. The first two pictures are out of our garage...the third picture is out our front door. Talk about a white Christmas! Yeah!!!!! This morning Ty looked out the window and said, "I would sure like to push Daddy down in all that snow!" So we will be out making forts and snowmen tomorrow...look for more pictures soon!!!! =)

Let it snow...

We are getting blasted with snow here in CO...and I mean blasted. The wind is blowing as it is snowing so visiblity is bad. There are parts of our grass right now that I can see and others that have 3 feet of snow on them because of the wind! So as you can see in one picture, the patio table is not covered with snow and there is a bunch in the background. The first pic is in our basement window well...It is crazy...stay tuned for more pics. These are just a few I took about an hour ago...the kids are gonna have fun in this!!!!!

Cutest sheep ever

I just had to post one more picture of my cute little sheep. We were happy to have Terry's parents come to see the boys in the Christmas play. The boys LOVE to go over to grandma and grandpa's house too. We went there for lunch after the play. We are so thankful to be close enough to spend time with family. We love you Grandma and Grandpa!!!!

Church Christmas Play

What a wonderful day!!! We had our family Christmas today at church. The kids put on a play of the Christmas story! Ty and Alex were sheep and they were the cutest sheep I have ever seen! They did a great job going where they were supposed to be and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus at the end. But we couldn't quite keep Alex from putting that little finger in his nose...oh well. The boys also were fascinated with the hay. I guess I need to get them out more! If you asked Alex today what a sheep says, he would hold up a stick of hay and say...aha. Everything is a sword to him these days! Enjoy the pictures.

Christmas party

Not too many pictures to post here but we had a little Christmas party with the people from our internet business on Saturday evening. We had a great time playing games and eating. The kids enjoyed playing ball in the gym and eating cookies...as you can see the joy on Alex's face! The adults had fun with games too. If you have ever played the game spoons, you know what I am talking about. You have one less spoon than you have people and you have one deck of cards. You pass cards until one person gets four of a kind then you grab a spoon. The rest of the people playing then have to grab a spoon before the spoons are gone. This leaves two people fighting over the same spoon in the end. I have to say that I will never sit next to Terry when playing this game EVER again...he broke my nail and left me bleeding after it was over! But we had a great time! Here are a couple of pictures of the kids!

Fun in the snow

Colorado got some snow this week! We had about 4 inches of the wonderful white stuff--the boys couldn't wait to get out and play in it. Mommy and the boys went sledding down a little hill yesterday. Today
Daddy had to do it too, so we took off after breakfast to play in the snow! We had soooo much fun. Since Daddy was along this time I could get some pictures. We went sledding, made snow angels, and played tag in the snow. At one point, Alex wanted to make a snow angel and he jumped in the snow face first and made his snow angel laying on his stomach instead of his back. Unfortunately, my camera was at the top of the hill, so I didn't get a picture of that. But it was still pretty funny. Here are some pictures of the boys and Daddy sledding. And....baby, it's cold outside...here in Colorado!!!
