Terry and I met in November of 2000. We were married November of 2001. We had Ty November of 2002 and Alex in May of 2004. How is that for moving fast?!?! The boys are the love of our lives along with family and friends but ultimately God! We love God and are striving to please Him. We are actively involved in our church here in town--Life Church of Fort Collins. We love it. Come visit sometime!

Ready for school

Ty will be starting school in less than a month. He will be going every day/half day in a four year old Kindergarten. He is soooo excited. He wants to get ready so we have been really working on his letters and numbers. The other day we were working and I couldn't help taking pictures of him. When he concentrates, he sticks his tongue out. I guess it is a Jordan thing--you know, Michael Jordan--we are related!! =) I did have to take some pictures of Alex too because he thinks that he is going to school as well. He says, "I am soooo ready for school". (Alex wears this costume constantly too. ) Anyway, I hope they stay excited about school!

July 4th

The boys doing "poppers".Right before throwing the "poppers".Daddy doing the thing he loves--too loud for the boys! Those fireworks are REALLY LOUD!!!!!

We had a great time on the 4th of July. The boys let us sleep in, then we headed for our neighbors house. We spent the day swimming and Ty and Alex both have taken off with their swimming skills. They both can go under water and swim by themselves. It is fun to see how much they have learned this summer. After the pool, we did some fireworks of our own and then watched the fireworks in Windsor with our friends Brian and Jenny Carson and their kids. It was a great day. Here are a couple of pictures of the boys doing fireworks.

Summer is passing too quickly!! It has been super hot here too--I'm just glad that we don't have to deal with humidity. We have been finding ways to keep cool this summer though. The boys have enjoyed the sprinklers, our neighbors pool, our own little pool and the play set. Here are some pictures of our wonderful summer so far. (Ty starts school this fall so we have to get as much playing in as we can!)

I have been told a couple times now that I need to update my blog. I have had trouble keeping up with things lately--you know, with two boys who live to be outside and plenty else to do when I am inside---blogging has gone to the wayside a little lately. Anyway, we did go on vacation to North Carolina with my brothers and their families. We had an incredible time. I would have to say that this was the best vacation we have had since Ty was born. We rented a big house right on the beach and basically spent most of our time on the beach playing and relaxing. The house was big enough that all 18 of us were able to stay together and not feel too cramped. The kids all got a long and we just had a great time. I will post some of my favorite pictures from the trip. We did have a photographer come to the beach and take some pictures--we took some candids of that too. I will probably have another post with just pictures. So anyway, we are back and sorry it has taken sooooo long to post these!
