Ty's Thanksgiving program

Ty had his first school program this past week. He and all the kids did a wonderful job. He was super excited all day long to do his program. He woke up early and kept giggling every time we talked about it. All the K-4 kids were pilgrims and the K-5 kids were indians. A funny thing that happened while we were at the program--after the kids had said some verses and there was a break where no one was talking, Alex says very loudly..."Now can I go up there?" Everyone laughed. Anyway, Ty did a great job and we were very proud of him! In the group pictures, Ty is on the second row up from the bottom, third kid from the left!

Ty is 5 years old!!!

Here is a tribute to my little boy who is growing up WAY too fast---right before my eyes. Ty will be 5 on Saturday! I can't believe that we have a 5 year old. Ty is such a great boy. We love him soooo much. He is in Pre-K this year and learning a lot. He can spell many words already and he practices all the time! Ty got a great report from his teacher at conference time. She says he is a wonderful student! He has such a great heart--so giving and loving. He has given away some of his toys to other kids just because he knows they would like them. He has started cleaning up his room and helping clean around the house. Ty always tells me how much he loves me. He will come snuggle on my lap and tell me that I am the best mom and ask how he can help me. He is truly a wonderful kid! I love you, Ty! Have a great fifth birthday! Alex and sleeping...

So I was looking through some pictures of Alex this past week, and I was amazed to see soooo many of him sleeping--and most of them are not in his bed. He really does have a bed...he just like to sleep anywhere. Now, I like to take pictures of my kids sleeping because they are always sooo cute and peaceful. But what struck me as cute was all the different ways I have caught Alex sleeping on camera...so, I thought I would post them. Here goes...

TOO MUCH CANDY!!!!!!!

The boys had a lot of fun yesterday wearing costumes and getting candy. I think the candy was what they liked the best. One of the churches near our house did a special fun festival where they fill the church with jumping castles, slides, and fun activities for kids. The boys loved the big slide...Alex was a little scared at first to go down it since it was so big, but he eventually did it---again and again! So anyway, here are some pictures of the boys in their costumes and with all the candy they got. I think we will have candy for a year!
